Siddha Medicinal Uses :

  1. It is one of the constituent of Naalpamaram used to treat various skin ailments.
  2. The decoction of the bark helps to treat bloody diarrhoea, chronic ulcers, leucorrhoea, dysentry etc.
  3. The fruit of this tree is laxative and relieves constipation.
  4. The leaf decoction has Anti-bacterial and wound healing properties.
