Actions : Anti-bacterial, Parasiticide, Purgative, Anti-fungal.
Siddha Medicinal Uses :
- For skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi etc the paste of leaves are externally applied over the affected areas.
- Seemai agathi paste which is prepared by grinding the leaves with coconut oil or gingilee oil into a paste.This medicine is a very good external remedy against skin infection especially fungal infections.
- The leaves may be ground with lemon juice also and applied extenally as a paste for various skin ailments caused by micro-organism.
- A paste of root can also be used as an external application especially for ring worm.

vandu kolli and seemai agathi are both same. some one referred seema agathi as different name.

They refer seemai agathi is Gliricidia sepium and not the above one.
