More than 800 members of the public benefited from the free siddha medical camp organised here on 7th December by Madurai District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (MADITSSIA), district administration, Madurai Corporation and Raja Siddha Medical Company at Thirumangalam. Further, on the request of teachers, the organisers also delivered the herbal concoction ‘Nilavembu kashayam’ which is being promoted by the State Government and medical institutions as effective against dengue to 1,335 students of N. M. R. Subbaraman Memorial Residential School, K. Kandasamy Kothanar High School at Anna Nagar and Jeyapal Kordia Corporation Higher Secondary School at Tallakulam. Collector Anshul Mishra visited the camp and distributed the medicine to members of the public along with MADITSSIA president V. S. Manimaran and other office bearers. Doctors from Raja Siddha Medical Company also conducted a general health check-up for all participants.
