The MADITSSIA (Madurai District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association) is hosting a herbal show for five days at MADITSSIA hall from August 11. The fourth edition of the show is expected to create an impact and awareness among different stakeholders, including end-users of the benefits of the traditional medicines viz., siddha, unani, ayurvedha, homeopathy and naturopathy.
Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, Ayush (An exhibition of traditional and herbal products) Chairman V. Kalidoss and MADITSSIA president L. Over 75 stalls had confirmed their participation. The primary objective of the show was to educate and spread the benefits of traditional medicines to more people said Mr Murari. Keeping this in mind, the public entry is free. Leading manufacturers from Ayurvedic medicines would display their products. Experts from Siddha Central Research Institute, Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy and others are expected to hold interactive sessions.
