Siddha Medicinal Uses :
- Leaf juice in the dose of 1 to 2 teaspoon is administered two times a day daily for Ascites, Kalladaippu or Urinary calculus, burning micturation.
- The decoction of this plant is used or added as an ingredient in the gruel prepared for pregnant woman and administered after seventh month twice daily.
- The samoolam of this plant is prepared as decoction and given in the dose of 20 to 60 ml for all urinary complaints.
