Siddha Medicinal Uses :
- The samoolam or whole plant is taken fresh and crushed well, juice is extracted and given in the dose of 5 – 10 ml daily for three days to cure intestinal worms.
- The karkam or the paste of samoolam of ths plant is given in the dose of 2 – 5 grams preferrably with butter milk for bleeding piles.
- The decoction of the whole plant is effective for fever.
