Siddha Medicinal Uses :
- One of the main ingredients in Dasamoola (a category of 10 roots) – Used in pain, rheumatic problems, asthma, heart diseases, Vatha or rheumatic ailments, sexual problems, piles, digestive problems etc.
- It is also included in Laghu Pancha moola (five minor roots) – used in treatment of Urinary stones, painful micturation.
- Decoction of the roots is given for diarrhoea and other digestive problems, rheumatic ailments, toxic bites etc.
