Siddha Medicinal Uses :

  1. The bark is placed among spices. It also has rich medicinal value. In the conditions like Bascillary dysentry, 1 gram of the powder of this bark is useful.
  2. The powder of this bark along with the powder of dried ginger and powder of cardomom is given in the dose of 1/2 to 1 gram in vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal disorders.
  3. The decoction of the bark of Cinnamomum zeylanicum is effective for abdominal disorders like pain in abdomen, peptic ulcers etc.
