Siddha Medicinal Uses :
- The bark is placed among spices. It also has rich medicinal value. In the conditions like Bascillary dysentry, 1 gram of the powder of this bark is useful.
- The powder of this bark along with the powder of dried ginger and powder of cardomom is given in the dose of 1/2 to 1 gram in vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal disorders.
- The decoction of the bark of Cinnamomum zeylanicum is effective for abdominal disorders like pain in abdomen, peptic ulcers etc.
