Siddha Medicinal Uses :
- The decoction of the wood has astringent action hence helpful to control diarrhoea.
- Wood decoction has emmenogogue and anti-inflammatory action also.
- In South india, the bark of the wood is used in boiling water used for drinking purpose. It is suppose to bring a good effect in body, so even today this practice is followed.
