NTET 2025 Registration Begins: Apply by June 23, Exam on July 17 for Postgraduate Teachers in AYUSH

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the registration window for the National Teachers Eligibility Test (NTET) 2025, a national-level exam aimed at selecting qualified postgraduate teachers for Indian systems of medicine, including Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homeopathy.

Candidates aspiring to take up teaching roles in AYUSH institutions can apply online at NTET 2025. The last date to submit applications is June 23, 2025, while the exam is scheduled for July 17, 2025.

What is NTET?

The NTET is a dedicated eligibility test designed to ensure quality and qualified faculty in AYUSH education. It evaluates the subject knowledge and teaching aptitude of postgraduate professionals in traditional medical systems, offering a standardized pathway to become educators.

Who Can Apply?

Eligibility is based on postgraduate qualifications in the respective systems of traditional medicine and allied subjects:

  • Ayurveda – BAMS + MD/MS Ayurveda

  • Siddha – BSMS + MD Siddha or MSc in Anatomy

  • Unani – BUMS + MD/MS Unani

  • Homeopathy – BHMS + MD Homoeopathy or MSc Anatomy/Physiology

  • Languages – MA in Sanskrit, Tamil, English, Urdu, or Arabic


Application Fee:

  • 💰 General: ₹4,000

  • 💰 EWS & OBC-NCL: ₹3,500

  • 💰 SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: ₹3,000

Payment can be made online through debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.
