Actions : Anti-leucorrhoeic, Astringent, Anti-fungal, Anti-diarrhoeal.
Siddha Medicinal Uses :
- The dried powder of fruit is given in the dose of 2 to 6 grams for diarrhoea, bacillary dysentry, leucorrhoea etc.
- The ripe fruit is given for diarrhoea.
- The decoction of the bark of the tree is given for leucorrhoea.
- Leaves are dried, powdered and medicinally given for inflammations and microbial infections.
